A new team behind this year’s Challange24 tasks! – Supported by Fornax
The Electrical Engineering Students’ Hungarian Association announced its annual international programming competition, Challenge24, supported yet again by Fornax.
Challenge24, one of Europe’s greatest and most prestigious competitions, is organized again this year, this time by an international team full of novel ideas – making the event more sophisticated and providing fiercer competition and greater challenges for the contestants. The three-strong programming teams can enter a four-hour on-line preselection process to make it to the Budapest finals to be held between the 31st of August and the 3rd of September at the University of Óbuda. Entries can be submitted until the 29th of June at ch24.org.
During the competition there are no constraints regarding development tools, books, operating systems and programming language. During the challenge the contestants can use their own computers, solving problems in mathematics, algorithm theory or engineering, needing primarily their creativity. During the Budapest finals the contestants will encounter not only the problems, but also an excellent community, where they can make life-long professional acquaintances with the best programmers or even the supporters and organizers of the competition. It is no coincidence that a lot of former participants keep returning year after year. Among the prizes worth one million HUF valuable audio and IT devices await the winners.
The participation is supported by Hungarian universities and international institutes of higher education as well, and a host of Hungarian and foreign companies find it important to seek out and support talented young people. Fornax has been backing the excellent initiative since it started 17 years ago and it supports the competition both financially and professionally.
You can enter the competition until the 29th of June on the home page of the event: ch24.org
