Fornax’s Support for the Orthopaedic Clinic
Fornax ICT recently bought new office chairs that allow for a healthier posture resulting in a better state of mind. The old chairs were still in excellent condition and were donated to the Orthopaedic Clinic of Semmelweis University.
The Orthopaedic Clinic of Semmelweis University is a complex and multifaceted institution – at the university department with the widest orthopaedic scope in Hungary they perform almost four-thousand surgeries and see to forty-thousand patients per year. Many people from abroad come here for their medical specialist training and since the year 2000 postgraduates can also participate in the research program concerning the locomotor system.
The Orthopaedic Clinic moved to its current new location in April, 2016. Unfortunately, the health care institution of 68 years could not afford to buy a new office chair for every staff member. As Fornax ICT changed its office chairs to new ones that allow for a healthier posture resulting in a better state of mind, it donated the comfortable old chairs still in excellent condition to the Orthopaedic Clinic of Semmelweis University, thereby supporting the increasingly efficient work of the health care institution.
The company group gave thirty-five quality office chairs, and these ended up in the operating theater, the out-patient department and the offices of the clinic.
