Fornax presents the Eventus HR module – HR administration anywhere anytime on all three mobile platforms

A Fornax saját fejlesztésű Eventus megoldása újabb fejlesztéssel bővült: az Eventus HR modul most már mindhárom mobil platformon elérhető.

Fornax developed the Eventus application more than a decade ago. This was followed by the creation of the Android client in 2010, used by Hungarian Telekom and Crnagorski Telekom alike – the software contributed greatly to the mobile operation of the companies. The rewriting of the Android client and the development for Windows and iOS was completed recently. The module can be used on iOS and Android since June, and it appeared in the Microsoft store (Windows 10 Mobile, Tablet and Desktop) in the beginning of August.

Fornax has been handling HR activities with the Eventus HR module for more than 10 years, and has been continuously improving the module. The company uses its own development for planning and requesting vacation and to support the vacation approval process. Since the beginning of summer, it has also worked on mobile platforms at Fornax ICT and also at the subsidiaries of the company group in Montenegro and Croatia.

As the Eventus HR module was developed by Fornax and tested through its own HR processes, Fornax itself can serve as the most authentic credential for its partners as well as its potential clients.

The Eventus HR module handles the absence of contractors, the vacation plans of employees, the requests and the approvals, and also the administration of HR processes such as the request for equipment or the querying of the equipment of staff members.

With the help of this configurable system that can be tailored to custom requirements not only does the optimization of human resources become more efficient, the workflows also become clearer and better defined. The other advantage of the application is that it significantly simplifies the work of HR staff members and colleagues of other areas. And more effective operation will result in decreasing costs on the long run.

The application can be further developed, making it possible to connect it to other, already existing partner systems of the company, encompassing the data and the related workflows found there, creating an entire integrated system. The free text search engine of the system controlled within a closed process is able to filter out data based on any criteria.

With the help of a user-friendly solution we get a complete picture about the HR status of the company, for instance, we can find out who will be in the office in a given time interval, who is telecommuting or working at another site, and who is on sick leave. And the staff members see how much of their yearly vacation they have already used in their own profiles.


Thanks to the chain of approval built up in a hierarchy the supervisors can also appoint a substitute for given tasks while approving vacation, so no work is left without an owner – and the employees get e-mail notifications about approvals and new to-dos.

The complex is system is suitable to handle out-of-country assignments, and it also handles the related expense reconciliations. The Eventus HR module can also prepare reports and diagrams, these provide complex information for payroll, and the data the system generates regarding sick leave is processed by the finance department.

The next step of the Eventus HR module development will be Timesheet tracking, which will show tasks in an hourly break down. The system will therefore become even more complex, providing further advantages for the users, resulting in an even more efficient operation.

Thanks to the Eventus HR module, the preparation of accounting is quicker and more cost efficient, and the number of errors was reduced to zero compared to the manual system. According to Bianka Bertalan, the HR assistant of Fornax ICT, the greatest advantage of the system in addition to the 15 types of reports is that both the employee and the employer have up-to-date information even about staff members working at different sites.
