Special Exhibitor at this year’s Pannon University Job Fair

This year in April Pannon University organized a grand job fair for its students in the lobby of building B, in Veszprém. The event served not only to show the students the options offered by companies with various profiles in the job market, several firms active in the region were represented as well. So the students were able to obtain first-hand information about the operation and daily life of exhibiting companies, and they also had a chance to learn about the positions on offer.

The organizers endeavoured to support job searchers with other services as well. For example the staff of the career office at the campus offered to correct the CVs of student who felt it necessary. And whoever wished to try a risk-free job interview was able to participate in an interview rehearsal – in order to prepare for the „big day” and be able to give his or her best in the real situation.

At the end of the day the career office drew lots to give away an iPad, and those wishing to give Go-karting a go after a day of wandering in the world of job hunting, the carts were free to try out in the parking lot of the university.

As a special exhibitor Fornax was familiar with the event, and felt at home. The company group has an excellent professional partnership with the IT Faculty of Pannon University, and the junior software developers of its new site in Veszprém that was opened in January are also students at the university. As the short term plans of the company group include the further expansion of the development center in Veszprém and the extension of activities in the Budapest office, Fornax had several IT jobs and professional activities to offer to the visitors. ​
