Fornax Runners at the 32nd Telekom Vivicittá Run and Half Marathon
This spring Fornax’s team of runners once again entered the Vivicittá Run and Half Marathon competition.
Sport has always played an outstanding role in the life of Fornax, and the company has been supporting its team of runners for years so that they can enter races of distances of their choice, for example at the 32nd Telekom Vivicittá Run and Half Marathon challenge this year.
The race started from the delta of the Olof Palme Alley at Hősök Square, and the finish line was at 56-osok tere. The mixed Fornax team ran distances of 10km and half Marathon, yet again with excellent results. The contestants were lucky, as Mother Nature granted them ideal weather for running, so the results were really up to the individual performances.
A team member ran a distance he would never have dared to attempt earlier, and one of our contestants had so much energy left that he sprinted the last 500 meters to the finish line. The many supporters, the musicians encouraging the runners and the positive atmosphere gave the Fornax athletes such strength that eventually they all completed their distances – going home with yet another wonderful community experience.
