On the 9th May cinemas nationwide will start to show the musical documentary of Balázs Lévai, Pécs Tracks, starring Simon Szabó and pop music stars such as Kispál és a Borz, Halott Pénz, Punnany Massif, 30Y, Takáts Eszter and the Junkie Jack Flash.
Pécs has become the capital of Hungarian pop music, as a lot of bands including the ones listed above started their career here. What can the secret of the city be? The Mediterranean climate or the radiation from the uranium mines? The echoes of the surrounding hills? Aunt Emma, the legendary chorus leader? Or is there something in the air?
Simon Szabó (Moscow Square, Paper Planes) pursues the mystery like Indiana Jones, and not sparing himself or the music groups of Pécs, tries to find the key to the secret. The musical documentary of Lévai Balázs is the story of an investigation injected into a backstage party with the greatest musical stars of Pécs and the support of Fornax.
