Fornax in the bowling alley! – Corporate IT Bowling and Foosball Cup
The team of Fornax ICT was successful at the 23rd Corporate IT Bowling and Foosball Cup, they finished 6th, 2nd and 1st in various categories.
Our colleagues yearned for new challenges after the last sports competition, the Monday Corporate Curling Cup, where they proved to be invincible. After that championship they chanced upon a call for entry to the bowling and foosball contest to be organized in Hotel Pólus in July, and they duly registered.
During the cup bowling and foosball matches followed one another, that is between two bowling matches there was a foosball match. Players were therefore unable to rest, because they either competed or routed for their team mates, but their spirits were high all the time.
This five strong community tested its skills for the first time, and achieved excellent results already: in the bowling team competition the team finished 6th, Viktor Kasuba came in 2nd in the male individual category, and the couple Norbert Pospischek – Viktor Kasuba won the foosball competition.
The individual results of Fornax bowlers were also splendid, and as their performance was even better during the two hour training that followed, it is quite possible that their ranking will improve at the next challenge of this kind.
